One thing I have on me at all times = my ipod. One of the first things I did when I purchased it a couple of years back was check out the fitness apps. With the apps only a click away what better way to lose weight? needless to say, I downloaded quite a few. There were definitely some that stuck out and I’ve kept with me so I thought I’d share those with you guys. The best part about these, I got them all free! I don’t know if they are all still free or not, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t be.
1. Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal

This App is amazing and I’ve been using it for over a year now. I’ve got many of my friends addicted to it! This little tool makes it easy to keep track of how many calories you eat each day. There are many other programs and websites that do the exact thing, but I enjoy this App because it is always accessible for me and easy to use. It also has the convenience of having a bar code reading ability which is nice to have when eating packaged foods because you don’t have to look up the name and brand manually. The only thing I don’t like about this App is that sometimes it does not have the exact food or exercise that you need. In this case, I usually just improvise. Most of the time, you can list the ingredients to create the meal you ate.
2. Nike Training Club by Nike Inc.

This little exercising tool is amazing, and I’m sad to say that I have not yet used it to it’s full extent. It offers different levels of exercise intensity and at each level of intensity, there are several lists of different exercises one can do. The greatest part of this app is that there are short clips of each exercise showing you how to do it properly. When exercising, proper form is important and I always get frustrated when I can’t do something properly because reading about how to do an exercise doesn’t even compare to seeing someone do it on video. I really have no complaints with this app. Its great for quick exercise and targets many different parts of the body. Its just wonderful, definitely get this one if you already haven’t!
3. The Next App that I want to tell you guys about has several different parts but they are all similar so I’ll list them together.
These Apps include: Daily Ab Workout, Daily Butt Workout, and Daily Arm workout by Daniel Miller

These little Apps are so convenient that I use them basically everyday! Now just so your aware, there are free versions and paid versions of this app. Being the broke High school senior that I am; however, I only downloaded the free versions of each. I don’t even see why you’d pay for it though, especially when the free version is so fantastic! They are basically comprised of little workouts at can either be 5, 10?, or 15 minutes along depending on how much time you have. You can choose to only do some of the workouts they list (this might be a paid app thing…) or just do all of them (which I always do). They have a person showing you how to do each exercise (You can tell this is an important feature for me lol), which helps you get the exercises down pat. Now, I know that there are other daily workout apps by the same company…Daily Cardio Workout, etc. But I only use these three. I do these each morning and night and cardio I usually do at the gym so I don’t think I’d ever use the app. If you want to use the other ones, by all means do because these are some handy dandy applications for weight loss!
Well these are my three most trusted apps that I use to help me keep track of my weight loss and exercise. Now if only I could find a good food/nutrition app that helped me put healthy meals together I’d be all set! If anyone has any good recommendations, by all means tell me so I can try them! =]
P.S These were all my own views/options on these products. I do not have any affiliation with the companies listed. I have used many weight loss apps and these are the few that I’ve kept with me and constantly go back to. Happy weight loss everyone!
